6 hot dogs
1 package ready to bake pastry
Wrap each hot dog in a pastry sheet and lightly brush with melted butter. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over top. Place “mummy dogs” on a lightly greased baking tray and bake at 350F for approximately 15 minutes or until golden and baked through. Top with “blood” (ketchup) and serve.
Every Halloween party needs a signature cocktail. This Mulled Cider Martini is a definite crowd pleaser!
1 ounce cinnamon schnapps
2 ounces apple cider
1 ounce vodka
Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Add cinnamon schnapps, apple cider and vodka. Shake for a few seconds until well combined. Dip rim of martini glass in apple cider and then into the cinnamon sugar. Pour martini into the glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Use local, fresh-pressed apple cider when you can find it – the intense flavors of the cider perfectly complement the vodka and cinnamon schnapps.
This recipe serves one because let’s face it, it’s more impressive to make these as you go along. However, the recipe can be expanded to fit inside of a pitcher so that guests can serve themselves.
Makes 12 muffins when using standard muffin tins. I line my muffin cups with paper liners, but you could grease them, do this before you start making the batter.
